WOI India acquires SwiftSeed Ventures and appoints Amar Dixit as CEO

National, September 28, 2026: WOI India has acquired SwiftSeed Ventures, an early-stage investment and startup ecosystem platform, and appointed its founder Amar Dixit as Chief Executive Officer. The acquisition brings SwiftSeed’s investor, founder and institutional network under the WOI India platform as the organisation expands its presence across India’s startup ecosystem.

SwiftSeed Ventures will continue to operate as an entity under WOI India. Its existing relationships across investors, founders, institutions and ecosystem participants will become part of WOI India’s broader efforts to build a connected national entrepreneurship platform.

SwiftSeed Brings Extensive Founder and Investor Network

Over the past several years, SwiftSeed Ventures has developed a network of more than 500 investors and 10,000 founders, operators and ecosystem participants. The platform has also made around a dozen startup investments while building relationships with educational institutions, corporations and innovation ecosystems.

SwiftSeed has developed partnerships and MoUs with institutions including IIT Delhi, IIM Lucknow and IIM Udaipur. Its ecosystem engagement has also included corporate and innovation initiatives involving Maruti Suzuki Innovation and Google’s innovation ecosystem.

The acquisition is expected to bring these relationships into WOI India’s expanding ecosystem platform, connecting early-stage investment activity with its wider initiatives across education, venture building, infrastructure, community and capital.

Amar Dixit Named CEO of WOI India

As part of the transaction, Amar Dixit, founder of SwiftSeed Ventures, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of WOI India.

Dixit has been associated with the IIT Delhi entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem for several years. He has been part of the core team of IIT Delhi Angels and previously headed eDC IIT Delhi, where he worked with founders and supported ventures emerging from the institution.

He also serves on the boards of several growth-stage ventures and advises startups and businesses on strategy, growth, partnerships and ecosystem development.

His appointment follows several years of work spanning early-stage investing, entrepreneurship and ecosystem building.

In his new role, Dixit will lead the development of WOI India’s platform and its engagement with founders, investors, universities, institutions, corporations and global ecosystem partners.

Amar Dixit on Building a Stronger Startup Ecosystem

Commenting on his appointment, Amar Dixit said:

“I have had the opportunity to experience entrepreneurship from different sides as a builder, while working with founders, and while working with investors and institutions. Each experience showed me that founders don’t just need capital. They need the ecosystem around the capital.”

He added:

“Some of the biggest opportunities are in the gaps between companies, capital, institutions and markets. That is where I want to spend the next chapter of my career.”

The comments highlight the emphasis being placed on connecting capital with the broader infrastructure and relationships required by entrepreneurs as they build and scale their ventures.

WOI India’s Six-Part Startup Ecosystem Platform

WOI India is developing its platform across six key areas:

  • Education
  • Venture Studios
  • Community

WOI India also has a stated target of mobilising more than ₹10,000 crore in entrepreneurial capital.

SwiftSeed Platform to Continue Under WOI India

Following the acquisition, SwiftSeed’s early-stage investment platform and founder-investor community will continue under the WOI India umbrella.

The existing SwiftSeed network is expected to contribute to WOI India’s wider ecosystem work by connecting founders, investors, institutions and other stakeholders. The integration also provides WOI India with an established early-stage network as it develops its broader entrepreneurship platform.

Dixit to Oversee Multiple WOI India Platforms

As CEO, Amar Dixit will also oversee several WOI India initiatives, including Startup School, DayOne Venture Studio, CEO Square, VC Circle, Centres of Excellence, Startup Park and WOI Angels.
