Fridaay OTT BB Bakshi Wins Best Original Story Award

BB Bakshi, the female-led Bengali mystery series streaming exclusively on Fridaay OTT, has added another achievement to its journey. Writer Paramita Munsi has been honoured with the Best Original Story Writer award at the Redwine Entertainment Present OTT and Fashion Award 2026 for her work on BB Bakshi.

Directed by Joydeep Mukherjee, the series stars Ishaa Saha and Debraj Bhattacharya in the lead roles.

BB Bakshi Brings Mystery and Human Emotions Together

Set in the quiet town of Golappur, BB Bakshi follows Bibi, a sharp-witted female constable who uses her keen intuition and unique problem-solving abilities to investigate mysterious local cases.

While handling the challenges of her profession, Bibi also manages her personal life and a budding romance with Gopal. The series brings together elements of mystery, investigation and human emotions through its female-led narrative.

Paramita Munsi Honoured for Original Storytelling

The recognition for Paramita Munsi highlights the original story at the heart of BB Bakshi. The series is built around a strong female protagonist and an unconventional investigative premise.

The show has also received appreciation from audiences for its distinct storytelling approach and engaging characters.
